What makes you powerful?

Knowing that I created and carried two humans inside of me.

What makes your world turn?

My children and knowing that they are the next generation. I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure that their future is great.

A pivotal moment in your life so far?

Loosing my brother as a 13 year old girl. It was so humbling to experience something like that at such a young age. It made me the person I am today. I have lived my life trying to heal but also knowing how lucky I am to be alive.

What are you most grateful for?

My health! Not a day goes by where I take it for granted. The older I get, the more people I loose and the more people I know become sick. Its an interesting feeling to know that can change at any moment in time.

Advice to women trying to make a make it in this world?

Have confidence and be strong! Do not hesitate to fulfill your dreams.

If you were given the power to successfully change 1 thing in the world, what would it be? (PS we know you can do this, you have the power)

I would love to the opportunity to empower women when it comes to natural childbirth. I want to stop all of the negative media and messages that are sent out to young women and girls that birth is scary and painful. I want women to know and understand the benefits of natural childbirth for babies and how incredibly beautiful it is and how powerful it makes you feel.

Who are you? How would you describe yourself?

I am a woman who has been through a lot. The bad has given me a hard shell and a strong personality that is not easily defeated. I am a loving and nurturing woman who knows and realizes the importance in being happy. I live life to its fullest and when I don't like how its going, I change it.

What qualities and virtues do you find valuable in people?

Compassion and kindness. I tell my kids everyday to be kind and treat others the way they would want to be treated. I always say that if I can raise compassionate children, then I have done my job here on earth and as a mother.

What is your go to outfit?

Jeans and a T shirt paired with either sneakers or some rad boots.

What are your favorite pieces from ERTH?

I live in my Chola hoop earrings!

How do you wear jewelry?

I love to layer things like necklaces and bracelets. I wear a ring on almost every finger. I really express myself through my jewelry.

Favorite place to be/exist?

Hawaii- where I grew up. Its so beautiful and makes me feel so grounded. I love to take my kids back and show them my childhood and how I grew up.

Favorite thing to cook?

Chicken soup- I actually feel like I’m making magic when I make it. It honestly heals my family when we get sick.

Favorite quote, affirmation or words you live by?

Now is the time, if not now when??

What is the biggest lesson you have learnt in life thus far?

That life is so short! Have no regrets and live it to the fullest.

Advice to your younger self?

Have confidence and don't be so hard on yourself!
